This place is the BEST. Best B and B in town. The owners are fantastic. Wait till you try the Eggs Benny... simply to die for. The Bedrooms are amazing. The Bed was SO comfy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE
This B&B was the jewel on our trip to the Maritimes. Joe, the owner, was wonderful to talk with and his breakfast was by far the best of our B&B experiences. He suggested changes to our planned itinerary which we followed through on and were so glad we did. The Eggs Benedict was superb with the best cup of tea alongside. Wish we could have stayed longer.
B&B was suggested by friends in Florida, outstanding experience! It's rated number 1 in Canada and all 6 of us loved the decor, history and best eggs beni breakfast ever. Oh, live deer on the lawn too!
I really enjoyed our time there. The house is absolutely amazing and the owners are great. Very clean and the breakfast was one of the best I've had. I was very comfortable there.
My wife and I stayed at the Montague Rose recently. We planned to stay for only two nights, but then changed our plans so we could spend a third evening at this wonderful place. Joe and Rose-Anne were marvelous hosts. During our stay we enjoyed absolutely delicious breakfasts that just kept getting better and better. Easily would have paid 25-30 dollars each at a restaurant! We also enjoyed great conversations on the outside deck during the evening!As hosts, they offered a number of excellent options in terms of the sites to visit and very thoughtful recommendations on where to catch a bite to eat in the evening. The next time we visit the area, our first choice will be the Montague Rose B & B! Thank you to Joe and Rose-Anne for an unforgettable three days!
