This is 4 years in a row that I have stayed here and I do not have a single complaint. Very clean place to stay along with friendly staff. I love being right on the water.
Had reservations booked from August 2017 for June 29 18 departing July 2 18, unfortunately life can throw curves had left a deposit of required $284.62 for that period,was told then non refundable, well June 18 18 the life's curve came called Seaside as soon as we had gotten the news, tried to explain what was going on and that we had to cancel but as soon as the word cancel was mentioned , we were told non refundable deposit, no chance for explanation just non refundable and repeated several times, which yes we were told that in August of 2017, we asked if a 50% refund was possible and like a recording was once again told no refunds , so now out $284.62 but was told non refundable several times, had been to Seaside for stays twice previous, had people come from Ontario & New Brunswick and spent time there with us in August 2018 beautiful & professionally operated but the policy and not working with the customer is clearly a sign of calous & one way operated, we gave our notice as soon as the situation arose thr 17th of June 18 was supposed to arrive the 29th called 2 days later was told the unit was rented for that time period so only a gain of $284.62 for Seaside Resorts saddened really
We spent two nights in the Spruce cottage and it was lovely - lots of space, kitchen was very well equipped, nice big porch with great view of the water. The deck area by the water was a nice place to sit & kids loved exploring the beach below at low tide. Cottage was very clean, lots of towels, comfortable beds. Easy walking distance to downtown, restaurants, whale tours and grocery. Minor downside was wifi - signal was ok but a bit slow & sometimes disconnected (fine for email/internet but kids had trouble streaming a show).
Clean, classic beach cottage look and feel. Stayed for the St Andrews Rev3 event. Was perfect walking distance from everything. Stayed last year for this event and again this year, and will stay again.
