Lovely place, lovely host. Found via Airbnb. I recommend this place if you decide to stay at st-andrews

Our stay at Salty Towers was one of the highlights of our trip. The hosts, Deb and Jaime, are absolutely delightful people. Friendly and helpful, they are usually around if you have questions, concerns or a hankering for a good chat. Both are knowledgeable about the area and gladly offer suggestions on how to fully enjoy St. Andrews offerings. The Towers are in an old home that has been decorated eclectically with an abundance of charm. Each nook and cranny has a slightly different theme that comes together beautifully. The wrap around porch is a great spot to relax and talk to other guests. The rooms themselves are uniquely decorated with antiques and oddities. Everything is clean and well maintained, bathroom has a shower with great pressure and the mattresses are comfortable. There are deer that often pass through the backyard and are visible from the open wrap around porch. The rooms are priced incredibly fairly, especially if you are traveling in a group. Overall, there is no better place to stay in St. Andrews!

Great experience at Salty Towers! Located right in the middle of town, accessible to a multitude of restaurants, shops, and the ocean, it is a fantastic getaway spot! Jamie and his family were extremely gracious from the moment we arrived and accommodations were cozy and clean! We had a wonderful time here and highly recommended it to anyone interested in visit St. Andrews!

We stayed here while in town for our nephews wedding and it was a lovely place with a wonderful owner. The place is run like a hippie den, which really reflects the owner. Very rustic and charming, and well kept. A beautiful old Victorian house with tons of rooms and old charm. You do have to share a bathroom with others but each bedroom has its own sink. The rooms have no heat control of their own so you are on your own for comfort, however, they put lots of extra blankets in the closet that you can use. Right downtown and in the heart of St. Andrews.

An inexpensive way to enjoy this amazing coastal town. Use of the kitchen is a bonus when there is a local seafood market in town. Make sure to visit the farmers market every Thursday. Jamie and Deb are wonderful hosts. Cat friendly home
