Great rates! Nice quiet, Cosy room's and free internet. Have to drive to eat or shop and get gas. Friendly staff.

Older motel but very well cared for by its owners. Great location, within very easy walking distance of downtown St. Andrew's by the Sea. This is a wonderful area, scenic, quiet, most enjoyable, the kind of area you visit and want to return to again and again. Great for enjoying the monstrous tidal action, as well. I find the Picket Fence a fine place to stay at a reasonable and affordable price.

Rooms were clean and the rate reasonable and thats the reason I am giving two stars. I will say this was the worst service experience I have ever encountered. The moment I got there the woman did not say hi but the first thing she said to me was leave the party at the party was a terrible assumption to make of your guests before greeting them. When she was being so rude I just wanted to get out of there where she put her hand up and told me to calm down. Other family members were there and she was going into their rooms and spying on everyone which I do not know why. I absolutely cant believe that she is in the service industry.
